The overall objective is to explore and reflect on gender issues and on how best to redress them in the context of higher learning institutions in Africa with the aim of realizing the human rights and gender equality as speculated in various national and international instruments.
Authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help to shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts in all areas related to the themes of the conference and are invited to for presentation at the conference.
Qualified conference papers will be published as special issues of the identified local and international journals, subject to peer review by competent experts. The identified internal journals include:
The post-conference proceedings will be abstracted and indexed in the International Science Index, and submitted to be indexed in the Google Scholar, Scopus and Thomson Reuters. The Book of Abstracts will be posted on the website of the Dar es Salaam Conference on Gender Issues (DCGI) and participants can download the book.
DCGI offers the opportunity to become among sponsors and/or exhibitors of the conference. Sponsors/exhibitors will have the opportunity to reach a broad local and international audience and have their companies promoted in various ways. The registration for sponsors/exhibitors is possible between May 1, 2016 and March 30, 2017.
