Continuing with the streak, 2017 is the fourth year in a row that a Mastercard Foundation Scholar has won or placed in the Top Three for the International Essay Contest hosted by the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS).

VIPP scholars and professionals had an opportunity to share their field of expertise and learning experiences at MSU on December 8, 2017. Six journalism professionals from CIPG and two faculty members from Nanjing Agricultural University presented their work and learning outcomes with fellow VIPP participants, faculty, and staff.


The VIPP graduation ceremony was held Sunday, December 11th 2017 at Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center at Michigan State University.

The VIPP graduation ceremony was held Sunday, December 11th 2017 at Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center at Michigan State University. VIPP Graduates, staff and faculty got together to congratulate the achievements of our visiting scholars and professionals. In total, 41 participants graduated this fall from VIPP.


The MSU Alumni Association, along with the Division of Student Affairs and Services, invites graduating students to a reception at the presidential residence.
